Viscira is a profitable, privately held company that is focused on building a highly successful business, while maintaining a positive, team-oriented and collegial work environment. We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an accomplished Account Manager in New York City.



Job Description: The Account Manager will serve as the key advocate for the client and will partner with a Northern California-based cross-functional team consisting of creative, technical, quality assurance and other production professionals to deliver various new-media programs on time and on budget. Working in tandem with Business Development, the AM will share responsibility for the overall customer relationship and will have significant responsibility for overall customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction, based on client feedback and account revenue growth, along with quantitative project performance metrics will be primary measures of the AM’s success. S/he will report to the Director – Account Management of the company (based in NY).



Job Responsibilities:

• Supports Account Director in the day-to-day management of East coast-based Viscira client relationships and is largely responsible for overall customer satisfaction

• Represents the “voice of the customer” internally. Must deeply understand customer needs and anticipate customer desires

• Works proactively with Viscira’s production team to establish schedules and key milestones, ensuring that those dates are met

• Develops discovery briefs for various programs/solutions, and coordinates cross-functional project teams in the design and delivery of these solutions

• Conducts final review/QA of all material going out to clients

• Continually communicates project status to internal stakeholders through various formal and informal mechanisms

• Works with the business development lead to plan and strategically manage account growth

• Contributes to the development of interactive and new-media tactical plans for Viscira clients

• Supports new business development efforts, as required



Critical Attributes:

• At least 4 - 5 years of direct and relevant work experience, with at least 3 - 4 years within the pharmaceutical marketing industry (in a traditional healthcare advertising agency, promotional medical education company, or interactive marketing firm); please note that we are not looking for candidates with more than 10 years of experience, as this is not a senior-level/Director/VP role

• Demonstrated ability to build and lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of professional staff from varied disciplines and backgrounds

• Must have strong project management skills with the proven ability to multitask

• A high level of attention to detail with excellent organizational skills

• Experience in presenting to and interacting with senior-level management of client organizations is desirable

• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Proven ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve to ensure the highest quality and customer satisfaction

• Demonstrated ability to deliver products and services that are and on strategy, on time, and on budget

• Ability to wear multiple hats and work effectively in an emerging company environment

• Bachelor’s degree required

• Willingness to travel to the West coast and throughout the East coast when needed

• Schedule flexibility to accommodate time differences with the West coast

• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision



Other Desired Attributes:

• Experience leading and delivering successful programs that incorporate multimedia, 3D animation, and web technologies

• Previous success in a fast-paced, team-focused entrepreneurial environment

• Residence in NYC
